SANDY
Director
Sandy is an actor, director, writer and teacher from the UK who lives in Sicily. Over the past decade he has performed for young audiences in Europe, South America and Asia and written shows which have been performed in Uruguay, Argentina, Turkey and on Madrid's Gran Via. An English Literature graduate, alumnus of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and a CELTA qualified teacher, he prepares Global's teaching materials and oversees our Summer Fun! camps.
He has a CELTA teaching certificate (Cambridge) and has taught English in language academies as well as Drama in various contexts. With experience of over 80 summer camps in Italy, Sandy provides the training for all tutors personally and is responsable for preparing the teaching materials which are used at camps and accompany our theatre tour. He also overseas the theatre work, and continues to work at camps as a leader and supervisor.
In his free time Sandy is crazy about Tottenham Hotspur, Athletic Bilbao and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and enjoys photography and New Orleans jazz music.
JOLLEY
Associate Director and Founder
Jolley created Global English Theatre in 2014, and ran it until he stopped working full time in 2018 to concentrate on his career as a theatre and film director.
A Masters graduate of Drama Centre, London, he has written and directed for stage and screen, including the film Alba: A Sicilian Fairytale,
Hamlet and An Honourable Man in London's White Bear fringe theatre. He is currently a director in residence at his alma mater, Gordonstoun School in Scotland, and continues to collaborate with Global as a tutor, designer and video editor.
Jolley loves to travel and has been involved in volunteer projects in East Asia and London.
EDI
Actor, Global On Tour 2023
Born in Australia, Edi is a young actor and musician. He graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) in Sydney.
His resume includes the films The Body and Seeing As It Isn't. He moved to London in 2022.

As a musician, Edi plays the guitar and piano, as well as singing. His musical inspiration is Stevie Wonder. He is also passionate for sport, especially football, rugby, skateboarding and basketball.

His family come from Sicily, so he is especially excited to spend so much time travelling around Italy. He knew he had to be a true Italian at heart when he discovered a love for cooking, and hopes to pick up some new recipes on his travels.
SARAH
Actor, Global On Tour 2023
Sarah hails from County Down, Northern Ireland and graduated from the London College of Music with a BA in Musical Theatre in 2019.
Sarah grew up performing in local theatre companies and gigging with Irish traditional groups across Ireland which started her love for singing. Since graduating, Sarah Has performed in numerous musical productions including the new musical P.S
I’m A Terrible Person at the Soho Theatre, London, The House of Bernarda Alba at the Lawrence Hall Theatre, London and Spring Awakening at The Grange, London.
She has spent the last 2 years writing and recording her own original music and after the release of her first single You’re Not
Thinking of Me has featured on BBC Introducing, was Hotpress Magazine’s track of the day and placed number 8 on Chordblossoms top 25 Irish tracks of 2021.
